Two weeks under the Tuscan sun

Saturday 17 June 2017 - It's arrivederci Firenze, and buongiorno Laterina. Left my Florence apartment and headed to the airport to welcome two fellow villa dwellers. This is a model of Florence airport, which interested me because it has a similarity to a poster we produce.

Florence has a nice new airport terminal, but is a small airport, and limited in growth because it has built-up land all around. So we had to bus to the rental car depot, pick up the car (this took some time) and then drive about an hour to our villa.

The countess welcomes us to Villa Clerici Bernetti with Bellinis. It doesn't get much better than this!

Here's the villa. Rest of the day was a swim and dinner.
